New deadline: NFP Tailor-Made Training programme 2017
EP-Nuffic has announced a new deadline for the NFP-TMT programme for the 1st of March 2017. It is open for Applications from organisations in NFP countries.
If selected, a matching Dutch training provider will be selected through a tender procedure with maximum budget: € 200,000. It is open also for Joint Proposals submitted by an organisation in an NFP partner country together with a training provider in the Netherlands with maximum budget € 75,000 Co-funding is a NOT a requirement this time, but co-funding of at least 2800 euro by the requesting organisation or a sponsor in the NFP country will increase the chance of selection.
The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promotes capacity building by providing training and education for professionals. The NFP is fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation. Nuffic is responsible for the management of the NFP.
The Tailor-Made Training programme (TMT) is one of the modalities of the NFP. A tailor-made training course is designed to meet specific needs of a requesting organisation.
You can find more information and an overview of the criteria for TMT on the EP-Nuffic website www.nuffic.nl/tmt.
Embassy’s policy and priorities
This embassy will review incoming applications and recommend them to EP-Nuffic in line with embassy policy and priorities, which are focused on the following sectors:
- Food Security
- Security and Rule of Law
We also support private sector development , especially on the health, energy, marine and agriculture sectors.
Interested and eligible organisations are invited to participate in the TMT programme.
The application form is available at: www.nuffic.nl/tmt/application
How to submit
Proposals have to be submitted to the embassy at firstname.lastname@example.org. The embassy needs some time to fulfil its role in the procedure therefore the deadline for Embassy in Kenya is 1st February 2017.
Unfortunately the budget for the TMT programme is limited. By consequence a limited number of proposals can be subsidised.
EP-Nuffic is responsible for the assessment and selection, taking into account the recommendations of the embassy.
